Mental Health Technician - Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Carries out all assignments given by the RN in charge of Emergency Department.
• Provides patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Adheres to all Standards of Nursing Care.
• Promotes teamwork among co-workers.

Requirements

• Good physical and mental health;
• Minimum of grammar school education, high school or equivalent desirable;
• Genuine interest in the welfare of ill/mentally ill;
• Willingness to work under close supervision;
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions effectively;
• Specific orientation and training for Emergency Department.
