Position Summary
The Mental Health Tech is a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team and provides support for the patient’s therapeutic treatment plan. Primary responsibilities include observing and recording patient information pertinent to the treatment plan, assisting the nurse with nursing care to patients, performing related activities necessary to the general operation of the nursing unit, physically assisting patients, dealing with patient emergencies, and working as a member of a clinical team.
Educational Requirements/Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year nursing assistant experience
- Experience in behavioral units or geriatrics preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
Pay
- Mental Health Tech: $18.04 - $26.06 per hour
- LPN: $25.69 - $35.51 per hour
