Mental Health Technician - Dothan - PRN

Responsibilities

• Variety of patient care activities including meal preparation, cleaning, and assisting with laundry
• Ensuring efficient operation of the facility
• Teaching basic living skills through group and individual sessions
• Providing transportation for consumers using system vehicles when necessary
• Aiding consumers with medication under MAC certification, with supervision from a MAS nurse
• Completing required documentation in an electronic record system

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 21 years old
• Good driving record and willingness to undergo a motor vehicle report check
• Obtaining CPR and MAC certifications upon hire
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check
• Previous experience in mental health or substance abuse settings preferred
