Job Summary

Responsible for providing direct care to patients with psychiatric disorder; to ensure the safety and well-being of patients; to support the maintenance of therapeutic milieu.

Essential Functions

  • Aid in the care and treatment of psychiatric, drug, and alcohol patients.
  • Advocate for patients who may be vulnerable or need additional support.
  • Provide parent/family counseling, including Parent Management Training and Family Systems interventions.
  • Adhere to guidelines for patients on special status (e.g., suicide, sexual abuse, AWOL precautions).
  • Complete and file all documentation as required in a timely manner.
  • Think and act quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
  • Display professional boundaries in relationships with patients at all times.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Experience related to the role is required (no experience in lieu of a degree).
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred.

Additional Job Details (if Applicable)

  • Per Diem, 2x 8hr weekend shifts per month with major summer and winter holiday requirement.
  • Remote Type Onsite Work Location 2014 Washington Street.
  • Scheduled Weekly Hours 0.
  • Employee Type Per Diem.
  • Work Shift Rotating (United States of America).
  • Pay Range $19.81 - $28.30/Hourly.
  • Grade 4.
