Mental Health Tech - Jonesboro IDD Facility- 1st Shift

About the role

Arisa Health is seeking Mental Health Technicians to support its Adult IDD TC Program in Jonesboro. This program serves individuals with mental health needs, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Responsibilities

• Provide services to clients under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
• Perform tasks within the scope of education and training, adhering to local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, monitor, document, and evaluate client services.
• Make observations about clients' physical conditions, behaviors, and responses to treatment and report significant changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Utilize behavioral techniques to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment and respond appropriately during crisis situations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a residential setting or mental health field preferred.
• CPR for Healthcare Workers or BCLS certification for Healthcare Workers.

• Patient, consistent, and flexible demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
