About the role

Mental Health Technician - Fort Supply - ACU Northwest Center for Behavioral Health is recruiting for compassionate, dedicated individuals to help make a difference in the lives of all Oklahomans.

Responsibilities

• Provides non-professional direct or indirect care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient care setting.
• Participates in de-escalation activities and assures that consumers are kept safe.
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Assists in providing recreational and therapeutic activities for the consumer.
• Verifies the location of consumers every 15 minutes.
• Makes sure consumers are monitored for medication responses and records patient information in electronic medical records.

Requirements

• MHT I: No experience or education is required.
• MHT II: One year of experience in providing patient care.
• MHT III: Two years of experience in providing patient care.

• MHT II: Education and Experience required at this level consists of one year of experience in providing patient care.
• MHT III: Education and Experience required at this level consists of two years of experience in providing patient care.

Pay

• MHT I: $29,328.20/$14.10 hour
• MHT II: $31,799.00/$15.29 hour
• MHT III: $34,517.00/ $16.59 hour

Schedule

• Nights - Perfect for night owls!
• Extra $.50/hour for working evenings and nights
• Extra $.75/hour for working weekends and holidays
• Extra $1/hour for working on an inpatient or crisis unit
• Shift differentials can boost your hourly pay rate and you can stack them!
• Working a weekend night would earn you an extra $2.18/ hour!
• Full Compensation Range of $39,327.00 - $57,537.00. Compensation range to include base salary, retirement and benefits allowance - dependent on the number of covered dependents!
