About the role

Participates in observing, reporting, and recording of patient behaviors under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse. Responsible for helping to provide a safe and secure environment and therapeutic milieu for patients and staff in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports patient behaviors
• Records patient behaviors as directed
• Helps maintain a safe and secure environment
• Supports therapeutic milieu for patients and staff
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Desire to work with children/adolescents as a positive role model
• Associate degree in behavioral science or related field preferred
• One year psychiatric or general experience or equivalent preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be 21 years of age

Schedule

• 12 Hour shifts
• Every other weekend off

Pay

• Entry level: $14.00
