Mental Health Specialist

About the role

Mental Health Worker position available at Merakey in Monaca, PA, supporting Beaver County.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation, support, and direct care services to individuals with mental health and behavioral health needs, including assistance with daily living activities and therapeutic interventions.
• Implement treatment plans under clinical supervision, including substance use services, education, family consultation, and crisis intervention support as needed.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, social service agencies, and community partners to coordinate comprehensive care and support positive outcomes.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals served by following established policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Participate in treatment planning and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to support recovery and treatment goals.
• Utilize personal vehicles for client transportation and community-based work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a human service field
• 1 year experience working with individuals in a recovery setting and/or crisis experience
• Valid PA Driver's License

Qualifications

• Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Teams collaboration experience preferred

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible hours to accommodate client needs.

Pay

$20.75 per hour + mileage reimbursement
