About the role

Screening Assessment indicates determination of most appropriate services or disposition according to patient’s clinical needs, considering least restrictive alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports in a timely manner prior to end of shift
• Provides hotline information/referral/interventions that conforms to Screening guidelines
• Screening Assessment indicates determination of most appropriate services/ disposition according to patient’s clinical needs, considering least restrictive alternatives
• Screening Document contains clear description of dangerousness due to mental illness as per Screening Law and guidelines from DMHS
• Screener Certification training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology
• Certified Screener
• Preferred 1 to 2 years experience
