Mental Health Professional Trainer - Netsmart Focus
About the role
The Mental Health Professional Trainer will be responsible for all new hire Mental Health Professional training including Netsmart myAvatar, documentation, clinical services, crisis intervention, agency policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support and training in the Netsmart myAvatar Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Maintain and update Netsmart training materials, distributes reports to clinical leadership, and attends to support and training requests of MHPs and other clinical roles.
- Make recommendations on the clinical appropriateness of correction requests that are submitted.
- Provides additional support for tasks related to myAvatar as requested.
- Attend the myAvatar CWS calls, utilizes Netsmart Connect, and reviews other resources to support the clinical practices and workflow of the organization.
Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling or social work
- Current independent Arkansas license (PhD, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPE)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Mental Health Professional is required
Qualifications
- Excellent clinical, organization, and presentation skills are required for this position.
- A passion for training and development of other Mental Health Professionals.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to multitask and problem solve as needed.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of clinical practices and workflows.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to provide technical support and training.

Pay
This position is classified as full-time, exempt (salaried) and reports to the Clinical Vice President.
Schedule
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
