Mental Health Professional (QMHP)

About the role

Join a dedicated mental health team as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). In this role, you will engage, support, and coach children, youth, and families facing behavioral challenges, fostering stability and growth. Build rapport with clients to enhance their functioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide goal‑oriented interventions during transitions.
• Complete progress notes within 24 hours of sessions.
• Maintain certification in Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths Assessment (CANS) or Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA), updated annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related fields.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills and rapport‑building ability with children and youth.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in CANS or ANSA.
• Experience with special needs populations.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.
