Mental Health Professional - Kadimah PROS

About the role

Kadimah PROS is seeking a passionate, high‑energy Mental Health Professional to join an innovative, clinical‑group‑focused program in Brooklyn. The position serves adults (18+) living with severe mental illness in a warm, supportive, and growth‑oriented learning environment. The clinician will work within a collaborative clinical team that values empathy, cultural awareness, and professional development, providing both individual and group therapy using evidence‑based practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group therapy using evidence‑based practices.
• Maintain a full caseload with timely and accurate documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes).
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary clinical team.
• Support clients in building skills for recovery and independence.

Requirements

• Warm, empathetic, and culturally competent clinician.
• Strong communication, teamwork, time‑management, and computer skills.
• Experience with mental health and substance‑use disorders preferred.
• Knowledge of crisis management and de‑escalation skills is a plus.
• Valid NYS license or limited permit in one of the following: MSW, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC, LMFT, MFT, CAT, or LCAT.
