About the role
The Office of Mental Health at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) seeks a Mental Health Professional II / ACT Team Lead to lead the Beckman's Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. This position provides evidence-based services and supports individuals with serious mental illness in intensive, non-residential settings.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the administrative operations of the team
- Provide clinical oversight of services ensuring patients are seen in accordance with their needs and the delivery of best and ethical practices
- Ensure services are documented in accordance with SCOMH/QA requirements
- Provide direct supervision to ACT team members to include but not limited to facilitating clinical supervision meetings, treatment team meetings, coordinating training for team and completing evaluations
Requirements
- A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health, human service or social service program
- Must be licensed as licensed psychologist, LISW-CP, LPC, or LMFT
- Must qualify for credentialing and privileging as a mental health professional and in accordance with Quality Assurance standards and with concurrence by OMH Office of Quality Management
- Current and valid South Carolina Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus
