Mental Health Professional- Family Based Therapist

About the Role

As a Family Based Mental Health Professional, you will be part of a two-person Treatment Team trained in and implementing the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) model. Your work will focus on strengthening family relationships, improving executive functioning, identifying and interrupting negative interaction patterns, and enhancing family stability. The Treatment Team serves a maximum of eight families in York/Adams Counties, providing intensive therapeutic services in non-traditional settings outside the office.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) model to support families.
• Strengthen family relationships and improve executive functioning.
• Identify and interrupt negative interaction patterns within families.
• Enhance stability and positive dynamics in the family unit.
• Provide intensive therapeutic services in community-based settings.

Requirements

• Valid PA driver's license and auto insurance.
• Act 33 Clearance, Act 34 Clearance, and FBI Clearance.
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and ability to learn other computer applications.

Qualifications

• A graduate degree in psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, education, or rehabilitation.
• A graduate degree in a human services field plus 2 years of experience working with children/adolescents.
