About the role

This position serves as a Mental Health Professional Counselor Supervisor within the MDH Local Health - Charles County department.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate mental health counseling services and clinical staff
• Provide clinical supervision to licensed graduate professional counselors and other clinical team members
• Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for clients
• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions and counseling programs
• Monitor client progress and maintain clinical documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and professional standards

Requirements

• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland
• Experience providing clinical supervision to counselors or mental health professionals
• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and crisis intervention

Pay

$80,541.00 - $88,602.00/year, with potential growth to $125,564.00/year.
