About the role
The position is responsible for providing mental health counseling services to clients in Allegany County.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Assess and document client progress and outcomes
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Valid Maryland Professional Counselor License or ability to obtain within one year of employment
- Experience in mental health counseling preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of mental health disorders
