About the role

The position is responsible for providing mental health counseling services to clients in Allegany County.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Assess and document client progress and outcomes
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
  • Valid Maryland Professional Counselor License or ability to obtain within one year of employment
  • Experience in mental health counseling preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications
