About the role
This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position reporting to the Program Coordinator. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is projected to start in July 2026.
Responsibilities
- Interview and assess clients for mental health needs.
- Perform individual, family, conjoint, and group therapy services.
- Document, review, and maintain accurate case records and relevant clinical information.
- Provide counseling and appraisal services to individuals or groups to help them understand personal problems, define goals, and plan activities.
- Assess individuals’ aptitudes, attitudes, abilities, achievements, interests, and personal characteristics as they relate to personal, social, and educational progress.
Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling or social work.
- Current Arkansas license (LAC, LPC, LMSW, PLMSW, or LCSW).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.
