About the role

We are hiring a Mental Health Professional to lead treatment planning and provide therapy for children and families in their homes and communities setting throughout Berks County, PA. The role requires a flexible schedule and must reside in or near Berks County, PA.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains positive relationships
• Ensures satisfaction with the company by maintaining proactive, responsive communication
• Maintains regular, proactive communication and builds new relationships as needed to further the company’s mission and vision
• Establishes and maintains frequent and regular communication with Program Director, Program Coordinator and clients as needed
• Report treatment difficulties to supervisor
• Identifies and executes on growth opportunities
• Ability to acknowledge and establish areas of personal and professional growth in annual evaluations
• Makes independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with client, child, parent/guardian, treatment team members, and other personnel involved in treatment
• Possesses ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with children, families, and staff from a variety of cultures and social backgrounds
• Possesses knowledge of various therapy techniques and counseling strategies applicable to serving complex family systems
