Mental Health Professional
We are hiring community-based MST (Multisystemic Therapy) Clinicians/Therapists to provide mental health services in the community for youth and their families following the evidence-based model. Services are provided in program participants' homes and are geared towards serving youth who are in need of intensive community-based intervention, are at risk or have a history of out-of-home placement, and/or have community justice involvement.
Responsibilities
- Carry a caseload as assigned
- Actively participate as part of a therapy team, including attending weekly team and individual supervision meetings
- Assist families by actively referring them to appropriate services and supports, and with both clinical and concrete services
- Make case progress notes as required
- Participate in all training, supervision, and consultation activities
Preferred Experience
- Direct use of pragmatic (i.e., structural, strategic, and functional) family therapies
- Individual therapy with youth and adults using cognitive behavioral techniques
- Marital therapy using behaviorally based approaches
- Behavioral therapy targeting school behavior and academic performance
- Implementation of interventions within or between systems in the youth’s natural ecology that affect or influence the behavior of youth (i.e., family, peer, school, and neighborhood)

- Child development research and its application in the treatment

Qualifications
Master’s in social work (MSW), Mental Health Counseling (MHC), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), psychology, counseling, education, or other relevant human service profession preferred; required for site supervisor position.
- Experience working with youth and families
- Good communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with individuals and families
Pay
Salary range for this educational level varies based on credentials and experience:
- Non-Licensed Therapist: $51,993 - $57,534
- Licensed Therapist: $57,234 - $61,757
