Mental Health PHP/IOP Therapist - Fayetteville/PT

Responsibilities

The Springwoods Outpatient PHP/IOP Therapist performs social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health. This includes:

• Providing basic consultation, teaching, and specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care.
• Crisis intervention.
• Short-term and long-term family therapy.
• Providing information and referrals as needed.
• Developing specific treatment goals to target client populations.
• Ensuring delivery of high-quality and cost-effective healthcare consistent with UHS's mission, vision, and values, and in accordance with government regulation, licensing, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in a Human Services field, preferably Social Work, from an accredited university.
• Current licensure (LAC, LMFT, LPC, LPE-I, PLMSW, LMSW or LCSW).
• A minimum of two years psychiatric treatment experience, with experience in individual, group, and family therapy.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Arkansas laws governing services to children, adolescents, and adults.
• A basic knowledge of educational, psychological, and social service systems as related to special education and behavior treatment.
