Mental Health Intervention Specialist

About the role

This position provides support to youth and adult clients in various settings. The role involves facilitating positive interactions and ensuring client safety.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in developing life skills and coping strategies
• Facilitate group activities and workshops
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients
• Document client progress and maintain confidentiality
• Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a social services setting
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
