MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR - TEMPORARY GRANT FUNDED POSITION **OPEN TO ALL QUALIFIED APPLICANTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE EL RANCHO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
About the Role
The Mental Health Counselor will work closely with the Director of Student Services and the Mental Health Liaison and be responsible for providing student and family counseling services to assist the students in making appropriate decisions relative to school program and relationships with other pupils, teachers, parents and administrators. The Mental Health Counselor will be expected to provide direct services to students. The Mental Health Counselor will be expected to supervise interns.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Possession of a valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work or School Counseling, and have one of the following licenses: LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or be eligible for one of the following licenses: Associate Clinical Social Worker, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, or Associate Professional Counselor.
- Bilingual in Spanish is desirable.

Pay
Salary Range: $69,177 - $119,093 Annually
Schedule
Length of Work Year: 2026 - 2027 School Year
Benefits
El Rancho Unified School District may allow a maximum of 12 years out-of-district experience towards placement on the salary schedule.
