About the Role

The Senior Mental Health Counselor provides counseling, education, and case management within a multidisciplinary Palliative Care team. They offer advanced clinical support, serve as a resource for clinicians, and contribute to program development and group curriculum. The role includes leadership and mentoring responsibilities to enhance client outcomes and team growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical counseling and case management services

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related health field
  • Alaska licensure (e.g., Social Worker, Psychologist, Counselor) upon hire
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
