Mental Health Counselor - Masters

About the role

Provides therapeutic programs and treatments within inpatient behavioral health units, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver trauma-informed modalities such as group, individual, and family therapy. Assesses patient strengths and supports discharge planning to promote stabilization and community reintegration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trauma-informed therapeutic modalities including group, individual, and family therapy.
• Assess patient strengths and needs to inform treatment planning.
• Support discharge planning to facilitate stabilization and reintegration into the community.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an inpatient behavioral health setting.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, or Creative/Expressive Arts.
• Relevant licensure (e.g., LCSW, LICSW, LPC, or LMFT).
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient mental health experience with adult, child/adolescent, or geriatric populations.

Pay

$37.84 - $58.75 per hour, with opportunities for additional compensation such as shift differentials and bonuses.
