Mental Health Counselor - Day Treatment

Responsibilities

• Manage the behavior of clients who attend our Day Treatment Program and record their treatment progress.
• Cook up service delivery by assessing the needs of the children and families we serve by linking them to appropriate services.
• Conduct and lead group activities to support treatment goals and ensure that the Person Centered Plan is created, modified, and reviewed as appropriate through the Child and Family Team.
• Provide agency vehicle transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• B.A or B.S. or an Associates Degree in Social Work or a related human service field required.
• Qualified Professional (QP) 2 – 4 years of experience in children's mental health.
• Children's Day Treatment experience preferred.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications preferred.
• Valid NC or SC Drivers License.
