Mental Health Counselor

About the role

Join our team as a Therapist In Training (CCS) and gain valuable supervised experience in community‑based behavioral health services. You will work under the supervision of a Licensed Therapist or Psychologist, supporting individuals with mental health and substance use needs in a collaborative, mission‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, couples, and groups.
• Deliver psychoeducation and skill‑building interventions to support recovery.
• Collaborate with clients and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Practicum experience in family therapy or trauma‑informed care.
• Eligibility for Wisconsin “in‑training” licensure (APSW, LPC‑IT, or MFT‑IT).
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation.
