Mental Health Counselor

Job Summary

Neulife Rehabilitation of Florida is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to provide therapeutic services to clients receiving behavioral health treatment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide individual and group counseling sessions in accordance with treatment plans - Conduct psychosocial assessments, screenings, and clinical documentation - Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans - Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records - Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members - Support clients in developing coping strategies and recovery skills - Adhere to all ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and state regulations - Participate in required meetings and trainings

Qualifications

- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field - Active or eligible Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Registered Intern) - Experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment preferred - Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
