About the Role

A Mental Health Therapist in a residential setting conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, and provides individual and group therapy for residents. The role includes coordinating care, documenting progress, facilitating crisis intervention, and managing discharge planning within a 24-hour setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for residents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Document resident progress and update records.
• Facilitate crisis intervention as needed.
• Plan and execute discharge strategies for residents.
• Act as a professional role model to support clients in their recovery and independence.
