About the role

Seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to provide in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities. The role involves conducting individual and group therapy, assessing and diagnosing emotional and behavioral health conditions, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and collaborating with facility staff and families to enhance patient care. All administrative tasks, including billing and documentation, are handled by the organization, allowing clinicians to focus on clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychotherapy sessions in residential healthcare settings.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, and cognitive decline.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using electronic health records.
• Monitor patient progress and revise treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to support patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LMHC license in the applicable state.
• Experience in geriatric, sub-acute, or long-term care settings (preferred).
• Background in treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders (preferred).

Skills

• Effective communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and technology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to regulatory compliance.
• Ability to provide in-person care within a 45‑minute radius.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Pay

Competitive salary range of $56,000‑$90,000 with sign‑on bonuses.
