About the Role
The Senior Mental Health Counselor supports a new Walk-In Behavioral Health Clinic by providing counseling, education, and case management within a multidisciplinary team. They assist in developing program processes and group curricula, demonstrate advanced clinical skills, and serve as a resource for colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct client counseling and case management
- Support program development and curriculum creation
- Contribute clinical expertise to team efforts
- Model advanced clinical skills and uphold organizational values
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related health field
- Alaska licensing (e.g., Social Worker, Psychologist, Counselor)
- Basic Life Support certification
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
