About the role
The Mental Health Center is seeking candidates for a Mental Health Clinician position in our Child and Adolescent Program. We currently have openings on the Family Intensive Treatment Team, Level 2, and Level 3 Team.
Responsibilities
- Work on an outpatient treatment team to provide individual and family therapy
- Targeted care coordination
- Consultation with medication providers and clinical staff
- Willingness to learn state-of-the-art evidenced based practice
- Use of electronic medical records
Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, rehab counseling, education/counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile with liability insurance in the amount required by agency policy
Skills
- Interest in training in evidence-based practices focused on children, adolescents, and families
- Organizational skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Basic understanding of mental health disorders and psychotropic medications
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with children, adolescents, and their families
- Culturally sensitive
