About the role

Join Victor Community Support Services as a Clinician and deliver trauma-informed, family-centered care that transforms the lives of youth and families. You’ll provide individual, group, and family therapy, along with rehabilitative services and case management, in settings most beneficial for each client. This role offers clinical supervision, a collaborative team culture, and a shared purpose of fostering resilience and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the need for services.
  • Develop and monitor treatment plans and goals based on client needs and strengths.
  • Complete all required documentation and maintain treatment records as stipulated by oversight agencies.
  • Serve as a liaison between the program, family, and community agencies (e.g., caregivers, case managers, social workers, educators, probation officers).
  • Collaborate with families or care providers to implement treatment plans and maintain contact with key individuals in the client’s life.
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling tailored to client needs.
  • Meet agency service percentage standards for client interaction time.
  • Perform additional program operational tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in a behavioral science field from an accredited institution.
  • Current license or registration from the Board of Behavioral Sciences (AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC).
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (required).
  • Valid California driver’s license, personal automobile insurance, and a driving record meeting agency standards.
  • Physical and mental fitness per agency policies, including ability to perform Pro-ACT Restraint Techniques (residential programs only), CPR, and First Aid.
  • Willingness to complete TB and drug screening tests, and a background investigation by the State of California.
  • Flexibility to work a varying schedule based on operational needs.
  • Commitment to working in a culturally integrated workplace and respecting human differences.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, reach, balance, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently.
  • Capable of walking up and down stairs routinely.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods while driving up to 100 miles for home visits, court, or DCFS locations.
  • Fine motor skills for typing, writing, and computer/telephone use.

Pay

  • Salary Range (AMFT, ACSW, APCC): $73,819 - $98,426
  • Salary Range (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC): $78,728 - $108,264
  • Bilingual Pay: $4,000
