Mental Health Clinician

About the role

You will work with adults aged 18 and older who have been discharged from lesser levels of care such as an adult family home or assisted living facility, and need additional behavioral supports to maintain that placement.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients and support systems to create a Safety and Crisis Plan and Individual Behavior Support Plan
  • Meet with clients weekly to focus and work toward their reported goals
  • Engage family members and residential staff, collaborating and educating them on ways to more successfully work with clients
  • Maintain ongoing evaluations, progress notes, plans, and meeting documentation to show client progress or behaviors to address
  • Work an after-hour phone crisis response approximately 1 week every 3 months

Location & Schedule

Wenatchee, Moses Lake WA area. Field-based role with hybrid work-from-home and travel to clients in the community. Flexible daytime and evening schedule you create.

Pay

$29-38/hour with opportunity for additional incentive-based pay—up to 10% biweekly.

Qualifications

One of the following:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field with 2 years' direct treatment experience with clients with a mental health diagnosis, under the supervision of a mental health professional (supervised internship/practicum hours contribute to this experience)
  • Eligible as a Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor through WA DOH (we can assist with submission)
  • Licensed in Washington as a Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or other Behavioral Health Provider, or licensed at an Associate level in one of these disciplines (an application as a Certified or Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor is needed until the Associate license is secured)
  • Licensed in Washington as a Behavior Analyst with accompanying Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst

Requirements

  • Satisfactory results of fingerprinting and background checks
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
