About the role
The role is dedicated to providing support and guidance to foster youth and adoptive families. Responsibilities include facilitating communication between these groups, ensuring safety and stability, and offering resources and referrals.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating regular meetings and check-ins with foster youth and their families
- Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized plans for youth
- Providing emotional support and crisis intervention
- Maintaining confidentiality and respecting privacy of all parties involved
- Collaborating with other professionals and community partners to enhance services
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in child welfare or social services
- Valid California Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Experience working with foster youth and adoptive families
- Certified Child Welfare Specialist preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal laws related to child welfare
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

Pay
Salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
