Mental Health Associate

About the role

Apart from providing comprehensive behavioral healthcare, High Focus Centers in Lawrenceville focuses on supporting clients through various modalities including multi-modal group sessions, patient break supervision, and routine monitoring of urine drug screens. The position involves driving, sitting, walking, handling charts, and talking on the phone for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates an understanding of adolescent growth and development.
• Must be able to co-facilitate a didactic and experiential group or is willing to learn to co-facilitate groups.
• Involves driving, sitting, walking, handling charts, and talking on the phone for extended periods of time.
• Participate in written and verbal shift changes by communicating with staff either verbally or in written communication logs, shift updates.
• Support the daily structure through helping clients attend all scheduled activities.
• Under direction of supervisors, facilitates activities including recreational groups and meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
• REQUIRED: At least one (1) year of experience working with adolescent populations.
• REQUIRED: Valid Driver's License.

Skills

Pay

Schedule

Full Time: Monday - Friday, no evening schedule
