About the role
Providing behavior intervention and support to children and adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one behavior intervention services based on Behavior Support Plans.
- Assist with daily activities including self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, and crisis intervention.
- Support clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, hygiene, feeding, dressing, and mobility.
- Collect data on behaviors and progress toward goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; college coursework in related fields preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience with individuals exhibiting challenging or aggressive behaviors.
- Experience in educational or healthcare settings preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old, with current TB testing and CPR/First Aid certification.
