Memory Support Manager

About the role

Owen Valley Rehabilitation & Nursing offers a position focused on managing the memory care unit, including staff oversight, resident assessments, and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Complete MDS and other required resident assessments
• Manage staff and day-to-day operations on the memory care unit
• Run care plan meetings for residents on the memory care unit
• Ensure daily programming is implemented and assist as needed
• Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure smooth operation of the memory care unit
• Educate staff on dementia-related topics and programming
• Perform additional duties as they arise

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher
• Social Service experience preferred
• Certified Dementia Practitioner certification preferred
• Management experience in Long Term Care preferred
