About the role
RiverCourt Residences is a premiere Assisted Living Facility in West Groton, MA. We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate person to assist in our Memory Care Unit as a Kitchen Porter.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure kitchen and dining room cleanliness
- Serve meal(s)
- Positive interaction with residents
- Dishwashing
- Maintain kitchen organization
- Sweep and mop floors
- Ensure kitchen is stocked
- Trash removal
Schedule
- Wednesday–Friday nights: 4 pm–7 pm
- Saturday–Sunday mornings: 8 am–2 pm
- Must be flexible working weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation and handling
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Background in dietary departments or as a dietary aide
- Familiarity with assisted living or nursing home environments
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Previous experience in meal preparation and kitchen cleaning
