About the role
Osmoses Inc. is a membrane technology company dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of industrial separation processes. This position offers hands-on experience in membrane fabrication and testing, contributing to the development of innovative solutions in the energy and chemical industry.
Responsibilities
- Work with membrane scientists and engineers to develop methods for membrane fabrication.
- Characterize the transport properties of membranes using gas permeation systems.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to convert novel polymers into membranes and gas separation modules.
- Maintain detailed laboratory records and contribute to regular reports.
Requirements
- Student in chemical engineering, material science, or related fields with hands-on laboratory experience.
- Coursework in polymer science, chemical separations, and transport phenomena is a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a creative, sometimes ambiguous, and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
