About the Y

The Boothbay Region Y has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for over 65 years. As a thriving non-profit with a $2.4M operating budget and nearly 100 staff, we serve more than 3,200 members and program participants. We emphasize four core character development values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Our mission is to strengthen communities by nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living, and fostering social responsibility, including delivering subsidized services to adults, families, and deserving children in the Boothbay region.

About the Role

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening the community.

Responsibilities

• Commits to the Y’s mission, vision, and values.
• Works with supervisor to create and implement procedures, programs, or curriculums.
• Works with program participants and volunteers to deliver safe, quality programming while adhering to all standards.
• Builds effective, authentic relationships with participants and connects them to the Y.

Requirements

• High School degree or GED, or working toward completion of high school.
