Membership Sales Manager

About the role

The Detroit Regional Chamber is hiring a full-time Membership Sales Manager to sell chamber memberships. This position offers a competitive salary of $50,000 a year, plus monthly commission and bonus opportunities. Business mileage reimbursement and a hybrid work environment are also provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of prospective members and prospect for new members
• Work alongside the engagement team to share intel and assist with the onboarding, communication, and engagement process
• Paying close attention to detail, keep track of each potential sale and adjust information within the system as needed
• Set achievable sales goals and travel around Southeastern Michigan to attend member events and committee meetings
• Participate in local networking events to uncover new prospects
• Cater to each potential member and leverage sales skills to help build the community

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with general computer skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A team player who is always seeking improvement

Work schedule

This position is full-time and typically works Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Opportunities to work from home are available.
