About the role

The Jorgensen Family YMCA is seeking a detail-oriented and outgoing Membership Program Director. The ideal candidate has a passion for connecting with people and helping them achieve their healthy living goals. A successful director will be an organized, self-starter, effective listener, strong team builder, and dedicated to serving others.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Four-year degree preferred but will consider an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• One to two years of related leadership experience preferred.
• Elevated level of organization, flexibility, and ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
• Experience in, or ability to, expertly relate to diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.

Responsibilities

• Develop: Expand current programs to support youth and adult engagement while promoting program growth.
• Connect: Interact with members and guests to strengthen relationships with community organizations.
• Serve: Supervise volunteers and part-time staff while also supporting the overall objectives of the YMCA.
