The role

The Membership Development Manager supports the Head of Membership Development and wider development team in attracting vibrant and diverse members to the Club community by forming new relationships across many different DC communities.

Who we are…

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

The Ned and Ned’s Club opened its first Club only property, Ned’s Club Washington, in 2025, our fourth and newest location. The property is located in President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW, in the heart of Washington, DC.

What you can bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred plus a minimum of 2 years of experience in membership/business development, community engagement or member organizations preferred.
  • Exceptional relationship building skills honed in the DC area, which help you generate new members and build member loyalty and retention at Ned’s Club.
  • Impeccable writing, communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.
  • Passion for building community and creating memorable experiences for members.
  • A results-driven, analytical mindset, always with your finger on the pulse of market trends and using data to evaluate performance, deliver reporting and inform strategy.
  • Proactive yet responsive approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment and able to juggle multiple priorities at once.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly and effectively.

Pay

$80,000 per year

Schedule

Onsite position requiring some evenings or weekends as needed to support acquisition activities at the Club and around the DC area.
