About the role
A casual role that requires early mornings, evenings, and weekend work. The Member Support Specialist is the first and last point of contact for members, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive environment.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect equipment prior to the beginning of class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use
- Maintain studio tidiness and return equipment to standards set by studio management
- Participate in networking/community events and studio promotions to generate new business as needed
- Stay up to date with, and implement, FS8 brand and athletics standards at all times
- Work the front desk and establish relationships with current and future members
- Make sales phone calls (number dictated by manager for each shift) and follow up on member inquiries during each shift
- Pay attention to detail during shifts to enhance member experience
- Stock laundry, studio supplies, and roll towels in preparation for classes
- Represent the elements of the brand with professional attire and presence in the studio
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 20 hours per week
- Make at least 40 calls per shift
- Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry
