About the role
The Member Strategy Manager (CPA Programs & Engagement) is responsible for developing and executing strategies to improve member engagement, retention, and growth. They will build strong relationships with CPA firms, members, employers, and industry leaders, lead cross-functional projects and initiatives, and manage sponsorship and member benefit partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to improve member engagement, retention, and growth.
- Build strong relationships with CPA firms, members, employers, and industry leaders.
- Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives from planning through execution.
- Oversee member programs, committees, volunteer groups, and professional development initiatives.
- Analyze membership, engagement, and participation trends to identify opportunities and make strategic recommendations.
- Partner with internal teams to develop programs, content, and services aligned with member needs.
- Manage sponsorship and member benefit partnerships.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Supervise one direct report and provide leadership, coaching, and development.
Requirements
- Active CPA required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field.
- Approximately 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Background in public accounting, accounting advisory, consulting, project management, program management, or business strategy.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading projects, programs, or strategic initiatives.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and influencing across multiple teams.
- Knowledge of the CPA profession, CPE requirements, and accounting industry trends.
Qualifications
- Active CPA required.

$115,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually
Schedule
Approximately 30% travel (events, member meetings, industry engagement)
