Responsibilities

• Formulate comprehensive business cases, conduct market sizing analyses, and pricing strategy for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve short-term sales wins and robust long-term strategic advantages.
• Lead market research assessments to guide investment decisions and product design.
• Leverage business acumen, market expertise, and space domain knowledge to formulate corporate and business strategies with specific and actionable business recommendations.
• Advise corporate development activities, including investment thesis formulation and deal diligence.
• Amplify the voice of the customer throughout technical product development and convey product value proposition to customers.
• Represent Blue Origin externally at events, conferences, and customer meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ Years of experience in strategy formulation, to include consulting, product development, or investing.
• Solid understanding of the space industry’s customer and competitor dynamics.
• Detailed market research, data analysis, and quantitative economic and financial modelling experience.
• Excellent written and verbal executive communication skills.
• Comfort applying analytical frameworks to address ambiguous problems.
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects simultaneously and maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with U.S. budgeting, appropriations, and contracting processes particularly for government space agencies (e.g., NASA, US Space Force).
• Familiarity with Salesforce.

Pay

Base Pay Range For VA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20; WA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20; Other Site Ranges May Differ.
