About the role
Provides member service, maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues and concerns, and promotes Sam's Club products and services. Processes member purchases, assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and follows company safety standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provides guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology
- Assists with securing and safeguarding Sam's Club assets and property by observing and communicating potential criminal activity
- Maintains paperwork, logs, and other required documentation
- Executes emergency response procedures and ensures compliance with company security and safety practices
- Assists with the training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures
- Teaches new technology and tool functionality, delivers new programs rollout training, and provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities
- Maintains area of responsibility in accordance with company policies and procedures, including properly handling returns and identifying shrink and damages
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, and collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners
Requirements
- Retail experience, including operating front end equipment (for example, cash register)
- Experience working with mobile retail applications

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00, with the actual hourly rate equaling or exceeding the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
