Member Specialist

About the role

This is an exciting entry-level position in our branch network, ideal for candidates interested in working in a team environment and interfacing with AAA members by providing insurance and membership services support.

Responsibilities

• Provide training on an array of AAA products and services to confidently interface with members and meet individual and team cross-selling goals
• Provide exceptional service to members in branch and over the phone regarding insurance policies, membership and insurance billing, and other services for members including passport photos, planning road trips, and cashiering duties
• Perform routine and advanced duties in support of agents and other team members
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists

Schedule

Available during branch hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Closed weekends and most holidays.

Requirements

• Prior experience in insurance, retail sales, banking, or similar customer service/sales environment
• Advanced customer service skills
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to travel locally when necessary
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office basics
• Proven ability to exceed assigned sales or service quality goals
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Adaptability to change and ability to meet deadlines
• A high school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening
• Ability to qualify for Property and Casualty License
