About the role

This position reports to the Manager, Member Solutions. The role primarily works delinquent loans that are less than sixty days past due via the auto dialer or through inbound calls received. They are responsible for discussing payment and loss mitigation options with members, answering inbound calls, and assisting members or directing them to the appropriate person.

Responsibilities

  • Work accounts primarily less than sixty days past due via the auto dialer or through inbound calls received.
  • Negotiate arrangements with members via multiple channels (phone, text, chat, and/or email).
  • Pend accounts out so we can follow up as needed.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times with members and co-workers.
  • Assist in multiple areas including late state and clerical, when applicable.
  • Educate members on any loss mitigation options available to them.
  • Analyze information to recommend the best possible outcome for the member and Credit Union.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess good member service skills.
  • Must be able to learn all account types, loss mitigation tools, and department specialty areas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Must have experience or ability to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for this job.
  • Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.
