Responsibilities

  • Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist with any questions or concerns.
  • Promote the Judgement Free Zone® by connecting with members and supporting their fitness journeys.
  • Resolve member concerns and escalate to the Club Manager if necessary.
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries.
  • Perform membership-related functions such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and transfers.
  • Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club goals.
  • Conduct prospective member calls and tours, assessing their membership needs.
  • Execute retail transactions with accuracy and drive sales goals.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize exercise equipment, recovery zones, and communal spaces.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms according to the routine cleaning schedule.
  • Perform a comprehensive walk-through of the club areas to address safety/policy issues and cleanliness concerns.
  • Address maintenance and facility concerns promptly, such as fixing broken or missing equipment.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
  • Basic computer proficiency required.

Physical Demands

  • Continual standing and moving throughout the club.
  • Continual communicating in person or on the phone.
  • Lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Move in different positions, including bending and twisting.
  • Handle frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
