Responsibilities
- Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist with any questions or concerns.
- Promote the Judgement Free Zone® by connecting with members and supporting their fitness journeys.
- Resolve member concerns and escalate to the Club Manager if necessary.
- Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries.
- Perform membership-related functions such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and transfers.
- Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club goals.
- Conduct prospective member calls and tours, assessing their membership needs.
- Execute retail transactions with accuracy and drive sales goals.
- Regularly clean and sanitize exercise equipment, recovery zones, and communal spaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms according to the routine cleaning schedule.
- Perform a comprehensive walk-through of the club areas to address safety/policy issues and cleanliness concerns.
- Address maintenance and facility concerns promptly, such as fixing broken or missing equipment.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
- Basic computer proficiency required.
Physical Demands
- Continual standing and moving throughout the club.
- Continual communicating in person or on the phone.
- Lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Move in different positions, including bending and twisting.
- Handle frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
